Not one of our bigger races, but still pleasantly enough. The weather played along and we’ve enjoyed a sunny day in the outdoors in Gauteng.

Charmaine Wright and Johan Korff both had two ladies as pit crew..each!

 

 

A couple of visitors came along to see what Nitro on-road is all about. We always welcome interest in our hobby.

8^th scale GT race:

Heat 1:

Charmaine Wright beat Johan Korff to the finishing line, both completed 12 laps in 6 minutes.

Francois ended 3^rd.

Piet du Toit encountered car trouble and Henry did not start.

Heat 2:

In round two Johan took the lead over and he was followed by Piet. Both completed 15 laps this time around.

Charmaine now ended 3^rd.

Round 3:

Korff won yet again and Piet was at his heels again, both repeated their 15 laps. Now we saw Henry in 3^rd place. Charmaine did not start.

Round 4:

Piet won this last qualifier round and Johan ended 2^nd. Francois Geyser crossed the line 3^rd.

FINAL 8^th scale GT race:

Johan Korff in 1^st place with 87 laps behind his name Best lap – 18.97seconds. Well done!

Francois Geyser in 2^nd position with 82 laps

Charmaine Wright 3^rd with 79 laps

Henry participated for 21 minutes and then quit.

Piet only drove for 9 minutes of this 30 minute final before his car broke down.
