Meyerton Raceway saw 25 entries for the start of a new racing year. We missed some of our regular electric On-Road guys, like the Landsberg father-and-son team and the Wright couple, Tiny and Charmaine. Here and there we were informed of people that quit RC altogether, but we also met a couple of families that are showing a genuine interest in joining the club. We will just have to wait and see what will come of it.

Prize giving for Off Road and On Road Nitro took place.

We've included a fun participation for Electric On road drivers as well, but the actual prize giving for them will take place on 15th January 2017, concurrently with the 1st electric on road race for 2017.

We URGE our 2016 drivers for this discipline to be present.

A nice vroom -vroom (nitro) race with just the local club members for a chance. Not that we mind visitors- on the contrary – but it really feels like a family gathering when it is only the local drivers.  To top it all, it was a No Marshal Day, and the drivers subsequently had to marshal for one another. Guess who drove almost accident free, all day long? Haha, you see, you can do it if you have to, hey?
